LinkedIn Feed Filter ("the Extension") is a browser extension that filters your LinkedIn feed locally in your browser. This policy explains what data we handle and how.

What data we collect

Nothing is collected or transmitted to external servers in the free version.

• All filtering happens locally in your browser using rules running on your device.
• Post text is processed in memory and immediately discarded — it is never stored or sent anywhere.
• Your settings (enabled filters, custom words, blocked accounts) are stored using Chrome's built-in storage.sync, which syncs across your Chrome profile via your Google account. We have no access to this data.
• Filter usage statistics (count of posts filtered) are stored locally in chrome.storage.sync. We do not receive these counts.

Pro / license verification

If you purchase a Pro license, your license key is sent to our server solely to verify its validity. We do not log LinkedIn content or personal data during this process. The key is then cached locally.

Permissions used

• storage — to save your filter preferences across browser sessions.
• activeTab — to detect that you are on LinkedIn before running the extension.
• host_permissions (linkedin.com) — to inject the filtering script into LinkedIn pages only.

We do not use permissions to read your messages, profile data, connections, or any other LinkedIn content beyond what is visible in the feed at the moment a post is rendered.

Third-party services

The Extension does not include any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels.

Children's privacy

This Extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
